Nike...TAKES IT TO THE NEXT LEVEL!!! After a couple of weeks off..."Team Nike" goes to Southern Oregon and Klamath Kennel Club shows, and Nike grabs a Group 2 the first day under Lorraine Boutwell and then on the third day ....grabs his Second BEST IN SHOW!!! This was only "Team Nike's" fourth weekend of all breed shows.

Way to go!!! I can't express how Proud, Thrilled and Appreciative I am to Bruce, Tara, Colin, Helen, all the judges that are recognizing what an exciting dog Nike is...and of course very PROUD of NIKE!!!

To bring you up to date on "Team Nike"...he and Tara are making a BIG SPLASH and creating alot of BUZZ!!

Nike's second weekend of All Breed shows, in Arizona, at the Kachina KC shows, the first day he goes Group 1, under Stephen Hubbell. Then, the second day, Nike, goes Group 1 under Eric White and....BEST IN SHOW...under Ms Dany Canino!!!

Words cannot express how PROUD I am of Tara and Nike!!

Then, "Team Nike", takes a weekend off, before going to All Breed shows in California. Where....once again...Nike wins the Group, the first day under Keke Kahn and receives a Group 3 the second day under Michelle Billings!!!

"Team Nike", is taking a few weeks off!! They will return to the show scene in May!!

"Team Nike" has started making their presence known!! Nike's first shows with Tara were last weekend in Virginia Beach at the Tidewater Afghan Hound Specialties. Nike was BOS under breeder judge, Phillipe Galardo on Saturday. Nike received the first Award of Merit on Sunday, under breeder judge, Jan Reital.

The following weekend, "Team Nike" were at the Southern Arizona and Greater Phoenix Specialties on Friday and Saturday. Nike received the first Award of Merit both days, under Hank Nave and Barry Dietch.

"Team Nike" is taking a few weeks off! A well deserved break!

I am so thrilled with how Nike is doing. Tara is a wonderful handler and truly loves the breed! Tara and Bruce are a CLASS ACT!!!

"Nike" has a new name!! He is now referred to as..."The Chosen One"!! I think he and Tara are long lost soul mates. He is totally in love with her and she is equally in love with him :)

I think his family here in Ohio is a distant memory!!

I thought I would start a Blog for "Nike's" show career! Nike, arrived tail wagging in San Diego, California on Wed. February 11, 2009. I really don't think there is anything that will "knock him of his game". He meets every new adventure with enthusiasm. His first order of business after getting off the plane, was to "water' a palm tree! I hope he realizes how unfair it is that he is now living in sunny California, while I am stuck in cold, snowy Ohio:/

He is totally head over heels in LOVE with Tara!! I warned her that he would have her wrapped around his paw in no time:P
