Jakar Afghan Hounds

An Afghan Hound was my 30 year dream that came true in 2006.

I bought CharterOak Dark Moon at 41/2 months from Gene and Shelly Vaccaro. She has brought me much joy and began her "show career" at 12 months. At 22 months she finished to become CH CharterOak Dark Moon. The picture was taken at the 2008 National....what great fun!!!

I now have my 2nd "girl", CharterOak Midnight Moon who turned 6 months on the 27th. She is heading for Columbus for her 1st show soon.

My family and I are so happy to be part of this Afghan Community. We have enjoyed meeting so many "new friends" and I'd like to thank Amy for always being such an encouragement on my journey as well as so many others.

I look forward to the coming years with excitement!!!!
