Update on our stunning young male, "Daltrey", Shekinah Jakar Pamir The Seeker: Daltrey has been spending the past month at "Camp Canada" with great friend Jodi Allward. They are an amazing team. Daltrey was shown for the first time at the Erie Shores shows, Canadian Afghan Hound National and Sighthound Specialty. He finished the weekend with a Best Puppy, 4 reserve winner's dog, including at The Naional!!! The following weekend he was Best Puppy and WD both days! We are very excited about this young stallion!

The Year 2009:
It was an awesome year for Jakar Afghan Hounds!!! A total of 6 Hannah kids finished their AKC titles!! Cya and Leah from her first litter and Dirk, Taylor, Lenny and Rumor from the Dagger litter. Hannah now has a total of 8 champion kids!! Nike and Tara made us all very proud, in very limited showing he won 2 All Breed Best In Shows!!! He ended the year #5 Afghan in Group Points. Lenny, flew out to join the Pamir Team in December. We are all very excited about his future with Tara!! In September Hannah gave birth to our future stars, out of Shekinah Santiago. They are a wonderful litter! I want to Thank everyone that made 2009 a Fantastic year at Jakar!!!
